Full Lip Care Routine

Full Lip Care Routine

For a full lip care routine, the following steps and products are to be taken into consideration:

Lip Scrub:

A Lip scrub is important in a good lip care routine, as it helps remove the dead skin cells from the lips. Other benefits can be seen here.

How to use: Take a little amount from container using the lip brush. Avoid using your fingers( if need be,ensure they are clean and dry) so you do not contaminate the scrub . Place the scrub on your lips and scrub using the brush for about 30 seconds, then wait between 1-2 minutes before wiping it off, so your lips will be completely softened and all the dead cells will be removed. Be gentle as the skin of your lips is sensitive and can break easily if too much force is used. Later rinse it off using your hands and some lukewarm water. Use a soft towel or tissue to dry it off otherwise, the mask will have trouble sticking to your lips. Plus, you don’t want to dilute the product with water, as you want its full benefits. A lip scrub can be used 1 to 3 times a week.

Lip Mask:

Now comes the role of a lip mask which helps moisturize and nourish the lips. Other benefits can be seen here.

How to use: Remove the mask from its package.Be careful when opening,as it is packed in liquid. Place the lip mask over your lips and make sure you cover them entirely. To work well, the mask needs to stay on your mouth for about 10 to 15 minutes( or longer if you want) . Set a timer so that you’re not tempted to pull it off early. You may also lay down while it’s working. Once the time is up, you simply remove the mask and clean off any excess. It is not reusable, so you toss it in the trash at the end. Should be used at least once a week or every two weeks.

Moisturizer:

Lastly, a lip moisturizer is a step not to leave out for a perfect and full lip care routine. This is very important as the lips need to always stay hydrated and moisturized.

How to use: After you’re done, apply a hydrating lip balm, lip gloss or lip oil. This step is not only important for keeping your lips smooth and soft, but also to reduce your risk of getting chapped lips. A moisturizer should be applied every day at your best frequency.
